This weekend, the first European PETRHA Cup celebrated the end of two beautiful years of collaboration at the IRFSS Aquitaine in Bègles.

We had the pleasure to welcome about forty students and fifteen trainers in physiotherapy from all over Europe (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Lithuania, Estonia, and Poland).

The students arrived on Friday to test the game and get to know each other. During the contest on Saturday, they competed on the PETRHA serious game in a joyful and relaxed atmosphere. They also had the chance to try the virtual reality games of our partners SimforHealth and B2G.

The winners, Antoine Jarrige and Vincent Routiheau from the Physiotherapy Institute of Alsace, were awarded the cup by the Mayor of Bègles Mr. Clément Rossignol Puech.

In second place were Lisa Eberhart and Marie Schang form the same institute, then Camille Giret and Léa Piazzetta from the Physiotherapy Institute of Limoges took the third place of the podium.

Finally, three students from the UPNA, Fernando Vinatea, Ander Orcajo and Mikel Mendioroz won the prize of the best clinical case’ creation.

Afterwards, the participants went to celebrate their victory and discover the city of Bordeaux all together, escorted by the physiotherapy students of the IRFSS Aquitaine.
